To identify potential regional partners whose participation will facilitate the field access and the knowledge of the High Asia reality by one side, and the direct contact to the concerning stakeholders (indigenous communities, local associations and
various institutions at local, regional and national level, international organizations, etc.) to be involved in the project by the other side.
To make a short list of regional partnership and potential funders with some interest in the project, who are expected to play a leading role in the project (Indigenous Partnership, FAO-PKH, University of Central Asia-Mountain Research Institute en Bishkek, Forum of Sustanaible Development of Arunachal Pradesh, Pastoralism Assembly of Central Asia-PACA).
To make a list of all the organizations (associations, NGOs, institutions, cooperatives, projects and enterprises) at different levels (local, national, regional and global) considered as relevants to establish the future WYHA, regardless of whether its participation in the project be possible or not. This list will include details referring to its locations, contact channels,
contac person and other useful information.
To collect abundant literature on High Asia and a yak husbandry geographically diversified to read the contents and interpret it. To design a preliminary network including all the findings over the map of High Asia, and according to these findings we make a selection of emblematic areas to be visited and carry out the local workshops round for community dialogues.
